Support our Helpline
We are the first point of contact for people facing Prevent. Help us empower them to protect themselves and their children from wrongful referrals and other harms as a result.
“The helpline means people know there are others who won’t judge them, but who will support them – especially if a child or young adult faces Prevent.
From the helpline, we help each person construct a foundation from which to take important next steps to protect themselves and their families.”
The Prevent Watch helpline is core to our work and the first line of support for people facing confusion, frustration and even trauma due to Prevent.
This is a free service that we offer to anyone regardless of their religion, race or nationality, or political beliefs.
We have successfully supported over 700 people challenge a Prevent referrals or Prevent encounters. All of them reached out to us through our helpline.
When you give £25, you could support our helpline for one hour.
Many of our callers find support to tell their stories to media or provide testimony for our case library, which is later used in our research and submissions. Some may even pursue legal action which can mean positive change.
