It outlines how the Prevent counter-extremism strategy violates the 1965 International Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination (ICERD), adopted by UN General Assembly Resolution 2106, and urges the UN to recommend that the UK government withdraw Prevent from the sectors of education and health.
Together with our client testimonies, this document contributed to the CERD recommending that the UK government suspend Prevent.
