Ibtihal Bsis was called to the Bar some 20 years ago and started her career as a specialist in criminal law. With regular appearances at the Court of Appeal and the Central Criminal Court for serious offences, Ms Bsis secured a number of acquittals often in difficult trials that ran a “cut throat” defence amongst those that stood as co-accused.
Following a career break Ms Bsis returned to as a Consultant to a High Street Solicitor’s firm and thereafter embarked on setting up as a sole trader in her own chambers. Having undergone a Public Access Course, Miss Bsis often receives instructions from clients directly without the need to go through a solicitor which can often add an expense onto the client.
